Thredbo is proud to bring an intuitive and progressive day of skiing & snowboarding to help pave the way in developing the next generation of superstar shredders. The day will also help raise awareness around the foundations assistance and development opportunities for emerging snow talent in Australia.
This fun and interactive day out in Thredbo’s kid friendly terrain park is the perfect way for the groms to learn tricks and tips from some of the best skiers and snowboarders in Australia.
There’s a signing session with the athletes and coaches, a sausage sizzle, live music plus heaps of giveaways and prizes.
All registrations come with a rad Project Shred T-shirt and poster to get signed by your favourite coaches!

Schedule
- 9:15am: Meet & Greet the awesome coaches at the Cruiser Terrain Park
- 9:30am: Progression Session 1 – Learn some trick tips from your favourite coach
- 10:30am: Progression Session 2 – Switch up your station and try out your skills on a new feature
- 11:30am: BBQ Lunch
- 12:30pm: Shred Session – Dial in those tricks and progress to bigger features as you lap the park with your favourite coaches
- 2pm: Poster Signing
Discounted Competitor Pass
Access to the Merritts Gondola is included in the registration for groms participating in Project Shred, however access to the Easy Rider T-bar is not. A discounted competitor lift pass can be added on during the registration process, if groms wish to lap the park via the T-bar or access other lifts during the day when cutting some laps with their new friends.
For parents looking to spectate, you can purchase a discounted scenic pass when registering your child.
The park is within walking distance just above the bottom of the Cruiser chair. Please be careful walking up. If you have a valid lift pass, you can jump on the Cruiser or Easy Rider T-Bar to access the top of the park.
